Points West for Tea and Trumpets

So Points West called us, what a shock,

They stayed four hours for a two-minute slot.

Jules Hyam came round, with a cameraman too,

To record George at play, and the trumpet, for you.

It was Mike Openshaw's fault, he called Points West,

So he came round too, at George's request,

For moral support on an interesting day,

And they both had some fun, along the way.

Then into town to the shop of Trevor Jones,

Because Point West had asked him, on the phone,

To play a proper tune, to show off the craft,

But 'Pop Goes The Weasel' sounds a bit daft!

So if you want to hear it, played nice and clear,

Then try Georges's website, or YouTube to hear,

'Amazing Grace' by Philip, nice lad,

Who had a go at Westonbirt and ain't half bad!

So the next day was spent, all glued to Points West,

To see what was said, and hope for the best,

They showed Cider Brandy and Teas sold to China,

'Tea and Trumpets', what could be finer?
